Augmented Reality ‘Maintenance’
The future-oriented AR Maintenance use case at the Telekom Design Gallery in Bonn demonstrates the potential of Augmented Reality in the industry. Equipped with a pair of AR glasses, the user receives context-based information and instructions for the maintenance of a machine. Innovative technologies such as real-time object recognition and holography are used in the process. Additionally, data can be gathered and processes optimized through the use of sensors, camera and microphone.
The use case makes it clear how augmented reality technology can support everyday work: Users receive information in the right place and at the right time. Only through this optimal user experience can tasks be completed fast-er, more easily and more efficiently.
